Overview
Class B Airspace surrounds the nation's busiest airports. Because of the heavy amount of high-performance airliner and business jet traffic, all aircraft must have a specific clearance to enter. A pilot operating in Class B airspace should expect busy radio frequencies and be very vigilant at scanning the areas for other aircraft.
